When Pantone announced its color of the year as Marsala, I was a little skeptical at first. Not because I’m not a fan of the color red, but because I wasn’t exactly sure how people would incorporate it into their wedding décor.
Boy, was I wrong.
Marsala is made of berry and wine shades to create this warm, very flattering tone. The color itself is very pretty (I think it has actually turned me into a red lover). It goes with so many different color palettes that you are able to use this color any time of the year. You have your blush and beige tones, you have your navy and purple tones, and it even looks great with a deep green and mint!
Beyond florals and design, Marsala also offers creative menu options for your guests! Have the bartender shake up a tasty signature drink that is a deep red or offer a meat option with a delectable Marsala sauce to top it off!
The year is almost over and we wanted to put together some of our favorite looks incorporating Marsala and even some décor we think would look great with it! Whether you are a fan of gold or silver we have got you covered.
